First it was spiderman, then x2, then the hulk and now I hear they are making The Punisher starring Travolta. If my memory serves me right, The Punisher was already made in the 90's with Dolf Lundgren(i think thats how its spelled). Oh well, nothing will be the Matrix.

 

Don't forget the one with Ben Affleck, Daredevil right?

 

actually X-men came out first didnt it? unless u want to go bak to the old days and count all the old comic book heroes movies, eh!? Newho, Matrix owns

 

I think it is great. For years DC was owned by Warner Brothers and their fans enjoyed movies based on their comic book characters.

Now it is Marvels turn. They will churn out so many movies it will not be funny.

what did you expect, this is hollywood your talking about. remember before when movies didn't have sequals? remember when movies didn't have prequals?


now everything has a sequal (even if it shouldn't) and a lot of movies not are comming out in triligies....i think thats a better question.

I havent heard about a third spiderman. there were 4 batmans. harry potter is gonna be 7 movies. lord of the rings because there were 3 books. LOTR should be removed from this discussion. and lethal weapon is 4 movies, not 3.

3 is just one of those special numbers that everyone likes.


also, I know some people, who said to expect 4 or more xmen movies. #3 is gonna be about phoenix, if it does good, dont know what 4 will be, or any after that, but the final movie will be onslaught. if 3 does poorly, 4 will be onslaught and thats the end. he also said that magneto should be recast eventually. also, wolverines adamantium extraction is a good candidate for 4 if 3 does well.

and trust me, my source on this stuff is 95%. I say 95% cause he told me hulk before DD a while ago, and was wrong. oh well.
