I mean on karts of this caliber. I'm really looking to get one of these things but I'm not trying to spend 5-6K to do it. Also this site doesn't list any prices Anyone know of a decent company that sells go karts for cheap? Even if they have crappy motors, I don't think it would be too hard to find a replacement engine...

 

build one! or go to a place like BJ's and get one of those and cut the frame and extend it and throw a big motor in. A guy I knew had a go-cart with a freakin like 1200cc kawasaki ninja motor and tranny in it. Fast....to say the least.

 

I would completely agree.. except I have never welded before, nor do I have the tools for it. And the tools for welding aren't cheap.
