sorrie dude had to go but i'm back, anywayz, i'm almost certain it's for an S13 89-94, in fact i'm pretty sure it's for a 94' but i don't own one so i don't know. The only difference from mine was the corners of the cover (on mine) stick out a little, maybe a quarter of an inch or so and the corners on this one don't stick out. Also, the holes for the spark plugs (i don't know what you call them) are off a little bit from mine cause the gasket I bought didn't fit the valve cover. so, i'm getting rid of it! any takers?

An altima? but i Do know that a lot of people think that the engines are the same BUT i bought these spark plug wires from this guy and he gave me ones that fit an altima and he said that they would fit perfectly. But it didn't!! two of the wires were too short. The distance from the distributor cap and the valve cover is different. anywayz, that's my story. bye

well its definitely not for a 89-90 240sx. Because my 89 sohc valve cover looks nothing like that. maybe its for a 91-94. I also thought all the 91-98 US 240sx had the same engine, i guess not. or maybe you tried to install it upside down or side ways thats why it didnt fit

It's weird because everything lined up almost exactly, the only difference were the corners. somebody do me a favor and look at the corners of your valve cover and tell me if they're the same as the valve cover in the pic, that was the main difference. plus the gasket didn't fit.

I beleive these are the specs for the different engine types (USDM):

Nissan 240sx 88-90: 4 Cylinder, engine: KA24, SOHC, 12 Valve, Distibutor in timing cover

Nissan 240sx 90-94: 4 Cylinder, engine: KA24DE, DOHC, 16 Valve, Distibutor mounts in front of head

Nissan 240sx 94-99: 4 Cylinder, engine: KA24DE, DOHC, 16 Valve, distibutor mounts in front of head, valve cover mount stud end of head

Nissan Altima 92-97: 4 Cylinder, engine: KA24DE, DOHC, 16 Valve, distibutor monts in end of cylinder head.

They all have KA24DE engine types (except for 88-90) but there are minor differences in each of the different cars.

Anywho, thanks guys, i appreciate your input!!

p.s. the Nissan Frontier 97-99 also uses the KA24DE engine
