Well, that really only narrows it down to 3 different valve covers then. SOHC, S13 and S14. Yes, they're all different.

 

the s13 and 14 DOHC valve covers are diff????? i would have to dissagree on that they are the same damn motors!!!!

How much do you want to bet? Yes, they're the same motor. Yes, they use DIFFERENT HEADS. If you look at the top of an S13 DOHC valve cover, you will see 3 bolts amongst the spark plugs. However, if you look at an S14 head, you'll only see the same 2 in the front. The S14 does not have the 3rd bolt in the top.
