gears for 240sx
does any one know wear i could get a cheap set of 3.90 ratio rear gears for the 240sx. The reason i ask is I race a 240 but i need different gearing to make the right rpm. Ive gotten as close as i can in the trans but need different rear gearing

Hi I race an 89 nissan 240sx in a local mini stock class at my home tracks. I need a 3.90 ratio ring and pinion gear set so that i turn less rpm and mainain the same speed. The only thing this hurts is your acceleration and in oval track racing you dont need a lot of acceleration if you can make your car handle and keep the r's up in the corners.

You have to post up some pictures of that beast or at least email them to me at stanbo@speakeasy.org.
I will look around for you and assign this task to my old school guy Angel.

I would call Balanced Performance. They work on some 240s in the Nasport Racing series.
Tell them StanBo sent you. When they ask what is a StanBo, you have broken the ice and will get the parts for cheaper. Trust me
