92 240SX Convertible

Hi All,
I am new here.
I own a 1992 Nissan 240SX SE/LE Convertible and love it.
I am little by little fixing it up, but some day it'll be nice.
I also build & repair PCs in my spare time, but there aint too much spare time these days, as I am rewiring my new house, or should I say old house, since it is 75 years old. Hehe.

As for my car,
I had a rattling sound emitting from the Valve Cover area.
Ended up removing both (2) Upper Timing Chain Guides and chucked them (per Nissan TSB) and replaced the Upper Timing Chain Adjuster, as it was worn/shot.
By the way:
If you have this "Timing Chain Rattle" problem, consult the following very useful how-to guide before ettempting to fix it.
http://garage.projectraine.com/
(Not saying this is your problem, but it definitely was mine.)

Them just for the hell of it, because I am at 130,000 miles, did the following:

Flushed the crankcase twice (first time with existing oil + GUNK Motor Flush, second time with 3 quarts of new Mobil One oil.)

Then filled it with Mobil One Extended Performance 15-50.

Replaced Oil & Air Filter. (K&N and Purolator – both performance type).

Replaced the plugs with Denso Iridium Power plugs. (Ouch, expensive, oh well, should be worth it.)

Alas, my baby runs really nice.
Well....as nice as can be expected for a KA24DE.

Ok, Ok, it would really be nice to drop a SR20DET Turbo and a 5-Speed Manual Tranny in there....It would be one Sizzling Hot Convertible.
Hehe.

But, I will kill this here KA24DE before I do that.
Got 130,000 miles now and it still runs great, so we will see what lies on down the road.

My latest dilemma is trying to find a driver-side "Quarter Window Mount", as mine has broken plastic pieces on it & I have removed the window all together temporarily. I have checked everywhere, including the Nissan dealership, so if anyone knows where I can get one of these, I am listening...
Check out this link to see what I am talking about:

Here is my website.

Feel free to check it out.

Well,
See you all around.
Later,
Red.

Thanks

Thanks dude.
Nice car you got there.
I am kinda hooked on my convertible.
The only thing is, driving a convertible makes you respect limits, as you don't wanna flip. Hehe.
I will put up more pics of my car once i get it fixed up some more.
