i have s tech and after a few years, fender gap is about 1.5 inches from the tire so id reccomend h-tech if youll be sticking to daily driver duties. it wont seem like much of a drop from stock height at first but itll settle in a few weeks. take it easy in the rain
How hard is the ride for S-techs?
I'm only going to be riding this car till summer of 07 till I graduate and I'll be getting a new car ... and this will become the hand-me-down car for my brother. If he wants to raise the car or lower it, that's his problem
Thanks, Jessica--I wasn't thinking of messing with suspension, so I'm just gonna go with the springs; the ride is already pretty harsh as it is.

both s and h are progressive rate. my friend has tein basic coilovers on his integra which altho is the intro model, i found to be quite harsh. guess im just old =P s techs are comfy enough for daily business. its bearable but if youre expecting any lowering spring to be as cushy and soft as oem, forget it

Ouch. I guess I came off a bit on the wrong side here. I'm not planning on any type of racing of the sort and it'll be strictly a daily driver. I guess what I meant was that I wasn't planning on getting a swap nor bolt-ons.
Anyway, re037, I have no idea what the car feels like with OEM springs. I'm thinking any decent spring that'll raise the car a bit is better than what I have now curbing the driveway almost daily.

Yeah.............. I can see where your comment about the coilovers could be confusing I was to say the least. when I think coilover I think a fully adjustable shock, coil, cap (top) but I guess I could see what you were getting at. It is just the internet unless it is fact what people say means nothing unless you let it.

Now i got your attention. If you use the shockes that came with the coilover setup you purchased then your car would be fine. You are talking about sleeve coilovers and if you ever considered that then you need to sell your car.
You should stop posting its making you look kinda bad.
