Do you think its possible for me to swap my 96 civic DX ($2.5k kelly blue book) for a 91 240sx with a SR20DET? Or would I have to settle for a KA20DE?

At the moment my civic has 180K miles so I'm pretty sure the 240sx will run just as good as the civic despite the 5 year difference

 

i would guess that your going to have to settle for a KA 240

 

if you sell the civic you can buy a SR but then you would have a motor and no car LOL

 

selling your civic is a good start.

 

yeah sell the civic.
the 240 stock will be better than that so you can enjoy RWD then do the swap and enjoy power and RWD.

 

if you profit to your price of 2,500 you would have enough money to look for a decent 240 but not with SR20 on them. SR20 powered 240's tend to cost more.

 

-Sell civic
-Buy 240 with a loan
-SR20 240 with the civic cash

The KA24 is a fine motor. Sell the civic and get a s13.
