Dang this is fun...
hey,
Just wanted to give a shout out to all you 240 freaks out there. Here's to the @#$& awesomest car in existence. I have been interesed in 240s for about a year now, but I've finally taken the plunge
I just bought my first 240 this last weekend. I bought an 89 coupe with a red-top sr20, apexi N1 3 inch exhaust, and greddy blowoff valve and upgraded fuel system. I can't believe how fast this thing is (it's my first project car). What alot of fun!!! I am hopeing I don't regret buying the car with the swap already done, cause I could've really screwed myself, but so far so good. It also has a r32 rear conversion with a c-west? front bumper (with pop ups). I'm going to have to paint it, and the trunk lid is pretty trashed, but...oh well, a work in progress
My question is, I've noticed that it sometimes will slip into neutral from fourth gear when I'm sorta coasting (slowing down with low revs). Is this a serious problem where I'm going to have to ****can the whole tranny, or is it an easy fix. If any of you have had similar issues, I'm curious what you did, and would welcome any suggestions.
Any feedback, comments, criticisms or just plain BS welcomed.
Tear it up!
