engine clacking??? how do i fix it? is it the timing chain, need help please

this clacking is driving me crazy

Probably just a timing chain tensioner.

It depends on which one it is. If it's one of the two top ones then it shouldn't be too bad. The bottom ones are harder to get to. Ka right? They're notorious for the timing chain tensioner clacking. lol

my ka doesnt have that problem. probably because its a vq.

assuming he no longer has the original kae, this is correct. the de does have two tensioner but the kae only has one. either way with out any further information it's still a guess as to what could be wrong.

i did some research and it is the tensioner, i haven't ripped off the valve cover yet

Gunna probably have to take off the front cover too.
