one slow day at dominos i soaked my engine bay with a half bottle of hardcore oven degreaser. in some spots it started taking off the paint, but a light scrubbing hand got it freaking nice. i just threw buckets of water on it too. no electrical problems after that. oh, a friend told me to clean it while its running, cuz its a ***** to start a wet engine.

"hey lemme stick my hand down here by the spinning fan to clean this" lol yeah dont do what ur friends say. i use simple green. but mines not all gunked up i just use that and it gets all the little stuff off
well so far my choices are purple power, "gunk" degreaser and castrol "superclean". ill test it out on my dad's ford f150 and show pics. ive cleaned it before but just with a toothbrush, DONT EVER TRY IT, lol.
oh and if anyone has pics of engine cleaning, post them please.
