Yeah, just dont wet the electronics. Cover them with a plastic bag or something.

ive been told to use ziploc bags to cover and ubber bands to hold them

That's the way I've always done it. On my mustang I use a trash bag and big rubberbands to cover the intake.

and eat thru rubber seals and such. simple green worked pretty good. scolari's didnt have the industrial strength, but the reg **** worked

and jusr cover everything up and scrub away

i might be late but if the engine is not completely covered in oil you can also use laundry detergent. just mix it with hot water and put it in a spray bottle. works really well and won't eat through anything. dish soap works too but laundry detergent works better.

nice, actuallyits really hard for me to move cuz of surgery, but the second i can run(becasue of the chance of GUNK lighting on fire) ill start the cleaning process. if anyone does have picsof you cleaning your car please go ahead and post them.

oh definately clean the engine while its running,but,first install a clutch fan made of razor blades and have your friend rev the motor while you clean the timing belt cover,then youll be nicknamed nubbs of course,as for a cleaning agent i always use race gas and a blow torch for the really hard spots but please dont try this at home cause my methods are pure madness.................
