well more so what i do is quick steer one direction, crank it the other and tap the e-brake, get the *** end kicked around and feather the clutch/gas to control it. so i dont really get what drifting is then, i guess if the car is sideways and goin around a corner but the rear wheels aren't smoking, then its not drifting. but i guess you cant drift a skyline gtr either, you know the awd.. the front wheels are powered u know, so that would eliminate it from all drifting aspects completely. Personally I would just go with his plan that he mentioned above.
Dropping out of high school, working at a factory, and getting a 350z sounds pretty damn tempting right about now.

Yes, but the car is being pushed through the corner, not pulling its *** through it. Look on youtube for videos of the FD Civic that drifts. It gets its *** SMOKED up and down the track. On top of that, it can't hold the drift. You can fishtail a FF but I dare you to get it to navigate the same track, while "drifting," that a FR can. It's night and day. And yes, I can speak from experience (although I do not pretend to be an amazing drifter by any means). Ask me what my daily driver is? Its a Cavalier. I have both FF and FR and I can tell you that they are not even comparable.

haha no popping clutches he said feint, go watch the drift bible.

drifting es being able to keep the car sideways, as long as intended.

not just getting sideways and countering back straight.....FAIL.

can you go around a 50 foot circle sideways, and never getting washed? NO u cant so its not drifting.

Get the 240 first, then we'll talk. As long as you research and know what youre looking for, we will help you. By the way, welcome to the forums.

im well aware that rwd produces more eye friendly drifts, but I DONT HAVE ONE..yet. i've driven my buddies rx7 and it's a differnt ball game, i found i couldnt do sharp corners in the rwd, but i could in the fwd. yes i know its all e-brake, but its what i got. all i want is to know wtf goes wrong with a 240, engine swap tips(found them a few days ago, so not gonna bother) but i couldnt find what general problems happen with 240s, now i know head gaskets go for a **** around 200k(120mi). so thanks and good day.
