going to pick up my 89 240sx this weekend!
so yea...im a noob. im getting a 240sx this weekend from a guy in Richmond Virginia. im excited and glad to finally be getting one of these. they kick so much ***. not like my stupid 
cavalier which i am selling now. hopefully i can learn a lot about these cars and get an idea of what i want to do with mine...yay for me!

damn....ok i picked up my car today and everyhting was fine for about 130 miles...THEN like the revs started jumping around and the car died.....AND THE LIGHTS WENT OUT! I am seriously going to kill this guy but at least i made it home safe and it only died once more after that but i have no clue what is wrong with the car and im really scared. Anyone have any help, i would certainly appreciate it since i have to get this car back on the road asap.

yea im thinking the same thing...going to check it now since i got back from work...thanks for the input. i always appreciate help (ill get some pics up soon)...OK i went out there and it is DEFINETELY the ground connection....****in fell right off when i jiggled it...so i am just going to buy some better connectors for the terminals instead of keeping these pieces of crap that make it look like the terminals were wrapped in tin foil...
