guess what? IM NEW
HI, just wanted to introduce myself.
Right now i dont own a car, my baby blue got totalled late last month and ive been looking for a new project car. ive always liked early 90`s S13`s and late 90`s S14. (sorry guys with the mid 90`s S14...) i had been debateing on getting a new SRT-4 and leaving it stock (yeah... right) or getting a 92/93 S13 dropping in an SR20DET or RB25DET and makeing a menice of myself at the local 'cruse strip. i have obviously decided on the latter... hence.. why im here. right now a friend of a friend is putting an SR20DET in his `89 240, which he is looking to sell after the swap is done (gas prices are going up and he wants a bike) so im looking to get his car after its running.
Im no stranger to excessive tuning to get the car right. or to busted knuckles and long down time. I had just replaced the clutch in Baby Blue 2 days before some moron cut across traffic and i T-Boned them.
Anyway, baby blue was a Supercharged 2002 Saturn SC2. like i said, no stranger to tuneing. unfortunately she never saw the rollers after the blower was installed but best estimates put 170FWHP (up from 110stock) (also why i had to ditch the stock paper-plate clutch with an ACT 4puck) Ive been around on MANY forums before so i know the code of conduct. (search before asking common questions.. etc)
so far ive gotten alot of goooooood info on swaps and legality and style (i dont like the front of the `89s but its a 240, and ill survive).
well thats all for me for now.

welcome to the boards. sounds like u've got some serious plans ahead of u. and i'm glad u know the proper message board ethics. i hope the car thing works out and u have a ride soon. by the way, would ya happen to have any pics of Baby Blue? sounds like quite the sleepermobile. i mean, who would think of getting owned by a Saturn?

yeah. www.geocities.com/sc2pc
i dont have a pic of the blower ON the car (well not a good one anyway, the one i have you can see the intake tubes and the BOV)
i scared a WRX on the highway one night, i dont condone street raceing but from 55 - 95 i was pritty bumper-bumper with him.
the Greddy Type S sure sounded SWEET (scared off many a ricer who would rev at me, VRUUM-SHHpiSHHHHH "oh NEVER MIND!").
i have a vid that my friend took when i went down to KY to help him put his saturn together. ill see if i can scrounge it up.
