Hello

S'up everyone. Glad to be a part of this group! I'm 34 and I manage a Ferrari Race shop. I bought the 240 because, quite simply, I'll not be able to own one of my cars (just yet) and I can build one that performs just as well for 1/100th of the money.

As for the car, I didn't own her for 4 hours before the neighbor lady backed into it. Sucked to have to deal with that right off, but it got me a VIS hood, enough to do the wheels and tires, and a fresh shoot of the front of the car.

Had the hood painted body color because I'm a sleeper guy. Kinda hate the pins, but gotta have 'em until someone comes up with something better. The outside will not be changed any more. I like to fly under the radar.

Wheels are Mustang Cobra R Replicas 17X8 in front, 17X9 in the rear with Proxes 4s (235-45-17 front, 245-40-17 rear)

Short-term plans are as follows as the new wheel and tire combo has increased cornergrip so much that the car handles like sh*t.

-Complete Megan suspension conversion. (evrything available will be replaced)
-ST Sway Bars Upgrade
-some sort of coilover system. I haven't chosen this yet.

Long-term is a S14 SR20DET/5SP/LSD swap. It will be built with a "silent" exhaust system and when running you will only hear the fan, valves, and turbo. NO blowoff noise and certainly no droning from the rear.

Yeah. Had to come back to reality. When average builds and restorations here are in the tens-of-THOUSANDS and yearly operation costs average 5-6K, I kinda had to rethink my fast car project. Plus, I always wanted a 240 so now that I have the $ and a shop, I can do one right.
