Hello from Oklahoma
QFT!
As a former law enforcement officer in the USMC, I can attest that regardless of how you feel about authority, rebelling against it isn't the smartest course of action. It doesn't show that you are being mature, adult or anything of the sort, it displays quite the opposite and most will look at you as a rebellious teenager who needs to grow up.
I'm not flaming, I'm just telling you how the adults in the world look at actions like that.

it's funny becuase during my ride along last friday, two guys got pulled over for the same thing, but only one got a ticket. neither car had a bumper cover, one guy was cool about it and got off with a waring, the other gave the officer lip and wound up with a +$700 ticket.
Absolutely, I've been in situations where I KNOW I was wrong, got CAUGHT in the wrong and just knew I was going to prison . . .not jail . . .prison, LMAO!
But I was respectful, admitted my fault and was apologetic. The police officer ran my license, came back and was like "Just keep it between the lines" or "try to slow it down"
It's a good feeling. But it just reaffirms Jramos' point.

) for stupid reasons & waste our time just because they have nothing better to do. the last time i got pulled over cuz my license plate light was out, it was a simple fix it ticket stop. but the rook still called for backup. before you know it there were 3 cop cars lined up behind mine for a FIXIT TICKET! its crap like this that irritates me, they should be out actually busting criminals like the gangster kids or something. not me, a student who just happened to be coming back from a night shift of internship at the hospital where it was really busy due to a couple dui accidents. i was tired & just wanted to go home & sleep. that was the last straw for me, ive been a dick to rookie cops in my area since. i like la cops though, they actually have real crimes to take care of, i have never been pulled over in la for anything. as a matter of fact last time i was in la i saw a mr-2 with a huge intercooler hanging like 3" below his bumper, it was fully visible. also there are a couple of guys on nico that run SR's in la and say that they dont get hassled too much. sorry for the long ramble, i just dont want you guys to think im some ***** or something, i just live in a an area with way too many cops & not enough crime to keep them busy.
... Every time I have been pulled over, they always call for back up... always 3 cop cars there. Both tickets were for exhaust. They even made me get out of the car and search it once, but i still don't give them any kind of attitude. You show them respect and they will respect you in return.
^^ i know man, like i was saying i give real cops respect because they treat you like a real person. but the cops where im @ are different, literally nothing goes down in my town so it leaves the rookies that they train here nothing to do. i remember when i was a kid & my father knew the sheriffs in town & they would remember your name & say hi if they saw you walking down the street. but these rookies aren't trained to be nice it seems, they act like everyone has a record & there gonna bust some perps. and they get shipped in an out so frequently they dont even care about how they are viewed in our town. again i only hate the rookie cops, real cops & sheriffs know how to act & are always super cool. ive never had a problem with the sheriffs in my town, its always the rooks
I would like to boost it and i have thought about the SR and the RB and i guess they are all good options just don't know what yet but that will be later on down the line gotta have the funds for a project like that.
