Hey

Hey, I'ma newbie here and I thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Cody and I'm a 16-year old from Spring, TX. Not often do you find a 16-year old getting the car he wants at that age, but that was the case for me. I had read up on 240's for a while and all the specs interested me. I have a crimson 1992 Nissan 240SX Coupe. I've done a little interior and exterior work, bought a CD player, and put bigger tires on the back (195 in front, 205 in back). It's gives it a sleek look. Well, I'm happy with what I have and I stand by my decision. Nothing compares to the all-around perfectibility of a Nissan 240SX. E-mail me sometime at code_red714@hotmail.com

Hey man, welcome to the boards. Nothing wrong with getting the car that you want at 16, as long as you treat it well. Don't know if you payed for it or if your parents did, but nothing annoys me more than a kid who treats the car his parents paid for like total crap.

But you don't seem to be like that so thumbs up to you!

Enjoy the forums.

theres only one bad thing about gettin the car you want at 16.... thats the car you learn on. i learned how to drive in rain and snow in the 6 and i've kicked myself for buying such a nice car as my first car..... now i have a dent in the hood and a blinker that doesnt work but, to look on the brighter side i learned my lessons so i wont make them when i get a 240. the only thing that scares me is RWD, i want it really bad, but i dont want to **** up...

my 'learning' car was an 89 ford bronco 2

that beast was like a tank, i hit trees and other cars

and it was so top heavy that any time it rained i went slip and sliding all over the road

i kept a bed in the back and used it as a mobile *** pad...it was great

Hi! That's wonderful that you like your first car. My first car was an 86 Chevette. It was crashed by my ex, and it hurt. I still love that car though. You will always love your first car. Take good care of it- I've never had a car that I took such good care of as my 240sx. We'll have to chat sometime!
