hey what sgoin on i just bought a 1989 240sx....the body and interior is mint..i dont knwo how to post pics so bare with me lol...i have a couple problems i hope someone can help me with....my dash lights as well as my control setiings for heat arent working..the heat just comes out of the panel and when i push the other buttons they arent working.....also my digital speedo isnt wokring becuase the dash lights arent i have 2...ont that displays off the windsheild and the other one...but the BIGGEST problem is that my car cuts out at 120KM/H feels like it feels when u hit a rev limiter and it cuts out i need some help...and note that its km/h not mph so its ****ing slow lol and pissing me off anyways if some one can help me out with these problems id appreciate it

It's a little tough to read all that, but you may need to get a new HVAC control unit to fix your control problem. As for the digital cluster, they are a common problem in s13's and usually end up going out. I forget exactly but its some time of resistor in the back or something like that, if all else fails swap an analog cluster in. Also be sure to check your fuses and make sure they aren't blown first.

 

thanks alot man i appreciate your reply....yea my dash lights are all out and i have 2 digital speedos...and before i can get plates i need to get thos eproblems fixed for certification....but ill check out what advice u gave me and see where i go from there

 

yea the fuses are all in tact..but theres a couple cut wires near my pedals a red one and a black one maybe thats the problem i dunnoi im confused lol
