Hey guys

Hey guys,

How you doing?

Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm Ahmed, just joined up here.

I'm here in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

The only other forum I've been on is www.son240sx.ca so here I am.

Been told to check out other 240sx forums for info and people's experiences as well. Makes sense.

I've been into cars since a lil kid, like every other guy. Have mostly seriously read up on cars since beginning of high school. I've decided that I've wanted a 240sx for the past 3 years or so and here I am finally about 4 weeks ago I got it thank God

I love the 240sx

I got myself a 1991 240sx HICAS (which I want to remove...). It's currently in the shop for almost two weeks. I got it green at 200k on the body. I am completely restoring it however, so my first investment is the body.

The body shop guy stripped it naked and is cutting rust out and welding new metal where needed.

My plans are for a daily driver with grip handling in mind, not slide-ways... however I would like to try it out at the track some day down the road I'm tickets and insurance concious, so I avoid wrecklessness :P The track is where it's at

Hmm other than that, my plans are just to restore the ride... make it a good grip handling car and potentially improve it's power too down the road.

Currently I plan to get KYB AGX shocks and perhaps S-Tech Tein springs or eibach sportline springs.

The braking is crap, definetely need new brakelines as the rubber stuff is crap and perhaps better rotors... its non-abs? smaller?...

I don't know Lots of thoughts... and lots more.

First things first; suspension and brakes.

My HICAS rear right wheel is leaking PS fluid and I want to get rid of HICAS entirely.

I'm painting the car from a badly beat up green to a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII Silver (if the bodyshop guy gets it).

Oh yeah and it's an auto... for now :P I don't really plan to do much to the engine except rebuild and replace things that are essential... for now I intend to in the long run go for an rb25det perhaps?

Aight that's my lil intro and rant

-peace,
