Tried the rubber washers on my mounts and it didn't help at all. NONE!. It's cool though I guess. I've kinda gotten used to them anyway. On to the next mod/repair .

Check out what the USPS brought me today....

Picked it up off eBay for $34 shipped. Hopefully this will fix my exhaust leak as well as free up a few extra hp. I'll do a follow up after I hopefully get it put on tomorrow. If not, it'll be the weekend.

THE EXHAUST LEAK IS GONE!!!! Well, it still has a small tick at the header but now all I hear other than the little header tick are my two N1's screaming when I get on it. I can actually take it easy and it not sound like crap now. My header is still a POS but i'm just trying to make it all work until i'm able to save and do something different . I'm pretty sure the reason all these leaks started in the first place is b/c there is no flex pipe whatsoever, so the exhaust has no give. If I do ever decide to go FI, I will definitely have a piece of flex in the DP. My overall impression of the test pipe is good so far. It sealed my leaks and was wayyy cheaper than a CATCO. Response is better but the sound of the exhaust seems louder now than when it was leaking in three different places . It was still worth the $35 though, so it still gets the . I guess it's on to the next mod now.

New mod done yesterday. I did the LED lighting mod per the instructions in Biggamehit's write up. I bought red LED's thinking they would be brighter than they were but they ended up being pretty dim. Kinda depressing really. I may see about getting the 194 LED's that have the multiple small LED's in one socket. I just don't know if i'll get red again or amber. I want the same basic look as the cluster in my STi. The red is cool, just not bright enough. Luckily enough the bulbs were only $10 for 10 so it's not that bad. I have lots left over. I did have the chance to replace my non working clock bulb as well as the gas light bulb but oh well...... Next mod ...

New seatbelts came in the mail today. I bought them off eBay for $58 shipped. It seemed expensive at first but I realized a power belt would be more hassle, more to break in the future, and probably cost just as much as all four of the manual belts. Hopefully i'll be able to get them put in soon. I also ordered a pair of Cusco style knock-off strut bars. Here's the eBay link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...179842220&rd=1
Hopefully they'll be in by the weekend too. As always, more pics will come later.

PS- Mods, can you please move this out of the newbie's section. It's more of a build thread to me now. I guess it would belong in the Show & Shine IDK .

58 dollars shipped is really an average deal, so don't feel bad about the price. Are they S14 or Canadian?

Animal farm factories are responsible for 18% of all air pollution.

which is a hell of a lot more than air pollution caused by cars.

so eat less meat and save the planet!

personally i have a hollowed out cat and eat primarily beef so...

um...

test pipes are cool.

Not really sure what car/country they came from. The tag has a MFG. date of 1994 but no real other info on them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no environmentalist. No way in hell i'm giving up eating meat. I'm just saying it's obviously going to be chaper because its an empty metal tube as opposed to a honeycombed case full of chemical infused metal. But then again, every little bit helps i guess.
