My first car

hey evryone my name is brad and i bought my first car last summer and its a 1990 240sx. For the last year i havn't really done anything wiht my car and i am now wanting to fix it and dress it up. i want to up the performance and look of my ride. I work at a tireshop so geting rims and tires is no problem. my bigest problem is that i don't know what to do first fix my apearence of the car (rust ect) or up the performence. Im new at this and hope that this site will help me. thanks

Welcome to the forums.

I would get working on the rust first, especially if its pretty bad. Try to get it before it gets worst because it can ruin your car.

thanks, thats what i was going to do before a friend started talking to me about engine swaping and silvia conversions. but I think im going to do the autobody work first, thanks for the help.

definatly fix the rust first. otherwise it will bite u in the *** later on when u have a ton to fix and no money to fix it.

Well I have been doing som looking around and it seems that im going to cost about $2000. im looking to redo the cars paint too. I wanna keep it red but i want a really cool and eye catching red. any sugestions?
