Smile My intro

Hello fellow 240 fans! Been reading for about a month now and finally joined. I'm currently looking for a track car (not drifting though) and the 240SX SE is currently my frontrunner. (among a 2002tii, gen 2 RX-7, miata, and 944)

I grew up with a '70 240Z and absolutely loved it. I wish I had taken it from my step dad when I had the chance - but not the money. Now that I have the money, the chance is long gone...

I hope to garner as much info from you guys as possible - TIA.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I've already learned a lot - tons of info available.

The whole search thing is kind of a PITA though - I really wanted to know how the S13 and S14 were different... Weights of each, distribution of said weight, engines, transmissions, SMOGing issues, notorious issues - and all I seem to find are parts for sale, and check out my new body kit posts, and you should have searched posts (Ok... maybe a slight exaggeration )

Either way - I'm still sifting!!

yeah there's a lot of good stuff here, but a lot of bad too... so the sifting is required... but if you're really, seriously trying to find an answer, if it's here you'll find it... a lot of newbs post up repeated questions because they're too lazy to make an effort...

Well... there are other things. Like ease and cost of repair, parts availability, cost of insurance, reliability - I've found decent 944's for similar prices but not any that weren't in desperate need of major help!

Still looking at all of them though - its been tough, just missed (by 1 hour) a great deal on a 92 240sx se fastback with Super Hicas - 1700 - man... *cries*
