Unhappy My sad story

This is the story of my 240. My first car was a Z28 Camaro. I was 16 and wanted a fast car. I soon realized putting 5 bucks worth of gas a day just to go to school sucked and it wasn’t fast. So I started looking at imports and totally fell for this b**** named Silvia. I looked around for months trying to find a good condition 95-96 240. I finally found one for a decent price and decided to take a look at it. The guy who owned it had painted the entire interior, grill, and spoiler red. It also had 18-inch chrome rims and a bad smell of B.O. I knew that I had some reconditioning to do. I purchased the car and took it home and started looking for parts and trying desperately to get than damn smell out. However every time I went to replace something I found something else wrong. It was just every little thing in that car had been f***ed up and one time of another. There where holes in the back panels, the right taillight leaked and I would have to drive around with a pool in my trunk every time it rained. And those damn rims had to go. I finally fixed it up about 2 months ago. It looked like I just stole it from the dealership. Well one night after work when I was leaving another b**** slammed into the side of my baby. Then comes the tricky part. The ladies insurance totaled the car and took it from me and didn’t even give me enough to make my money back, not even close. So now I just sit and read posts all day till I can find a 91 coupe to put an engine in. Thanks for reading and please help me find a 240 in Florida.

P.S. Don’t Drink and Drift!

Hey I feel your pain. I spent 7000 extra dollars on my integra and two weeks later I was hit by a drunk 16 year old that wasn't supposed to be driving after 9 and it was 11:30. I got no retribution either. Good luck on your search. If I see anything I will let you know. btw welcome to the boards

HEY WHITE RICE... My little story was just to help you out. watch out for that B**** that hits your car and takes it away from you. Loosing my car was worse than loosing a nad. (btw i do have both of them)

Just lost my 300zx few days ago to a red light runner. Your pain is much felt. Now I plan to get a 240sx and do some of the things I never got to do.
Btw it was faster than a 17.1. That was my first time at the track (didn't know how to launch), there was a wind storm..everyone was complaining, and my car was stock.

ouch, well welcome to the forum someguy!! tons of info. and depressing stories abound!! I got ripped off on a turbo on ebay!! I think we should form a club or something. Obviously you lost more than I did and I'm not trying to say it was equal, but man, people suck.
