My son is using my 1992 240SX that belonged to my nephew originally. It has 200,000 miles and has been great except for 2 things that I can't seem to get fixed. One is the digital display. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The mechanic hasn't found out what it is...Also, the high beam on the driver side headlight will not work. Replaced headlight and checked all fuses. Any suggestions.

 

clean the connections that plug into it from the back, I think its a 3 wire connector with a rubber boot on it. They seem to trap water and corrode the terminals.

 

1. HUD's were horrible devices, hence why they stopped making them. I'm sure the device itself became faulty as it has on many coupe's.

2. Probably the relay that is around the steering column, thats what happened to mine. Get a FSM or manual and trace the wiring, thats what I had to do.
