New to 240s

New to 240s
I just bought myself a nice little 1989 240 last night. It's the SOHC engine. The last owner has it on cut springs and put an exhaust on it.
This is by no means some sort of show car, it's going to be my daily driver so I want to maintain it and tune it up as such. My weekend car is my 1991 turbo Supra
I will have pictures shortly. Right now I am trying to find out some information about the SOHC engine. I want to change the oil, spark plug/wires, etc. Simple maintenance.
What are some common problems with the SOHC engine?
EDIT: Got 1991 240SX Hatchback DOHC now.

I just traded this 240SX for a 1991 240SX Hatchback with the DOHC engine.
Much better condition and no cut springs or loud, annoying exhaust!
The only code I pulled was Code 21. And the only problem I'm having with anything else, is that the passenger headlight does not come on, and will only turn on when you apply the brights. I checked both fuses in the box, anything else I can check?
