Cool New to the "Club", but not the 240!

Hello club240ers!

I just registered here but I'm on a few of other 240 boards (*cough*NICO*Zilvia*cough*) as well. I also recently moved from Los Angeles (Reseda) to Las Vegas -- so I want to say a special hello to any desert dwellers sweatin their nuts off while reading this!

Here's a few recent pix of my daily slider, the 2nd 240sx I've owned (other one suffered a blown HG, ugh):

Stats:

-1992 fastback KA24DE engine
-Whiteline adj swaybars front/rear
-KSport coilovers
-Powertrix front powerbrace
-SSR Reverse formula mesh wheels 16x8 +26mm, 205/55 rubber
- Crossdrilled+slot rotors (gotta luv ebay)
- Leaky power steering pump
- Rattling timing chain
- 95% Gutted interior.
- Alpine deck with some 6.5s up front and 5x7s in the rear (pix if u want)..

Future plans for it... The suspension is acceptable for now so I'm focusing my energy on fixing the various mechanical problems, like the timing chain and cooling issues. Eventually I'd like to go either KA-T or RB20, but that's down the road a ways.

Soon ta be installed:
- timing chain kit (FSM make it look like so much fun..)
- underdrive crank pulley, gatorback belts
- upper/lower radiator hose, ARC rad cap, water wetter, NISMO thermostat

That's about it for now, I look forward to you guys helping me with all the stupid little problems that pop up now and again!

Later!

Welcome. Haha, pimp 240. Those rims make children touch themselves at night they're so hot.

Thanks for the welcomes! I'll try to get some new pics up ASAP -- but just tonight the car started blowing the ignition fuse so it's up on jackstands until I can find out where the short is. I'm so thankful it decided to conk out while in my garage, there's no better place it could have kicked the can

timing chain replacement, what fun...

Look how chipped the upper right tensioner/guide plastic was.. All the other plastic had serious "ruts" worn in it!
