New Guy here

What's up everyone? I recently just took title of an 89' 240sx! It's a decent car but it has its problems. I bought it for 600 bucks so I have some money left to play with it and get it running smooth. It ran fine with a hotwired ignition, but i found a chafed part of the wiring harness and cut that out and respliced it, it sparked when the cut pieces grounded, so I think something shorted out on it. The cut section was near the coil/igniter area. All help regarding the ignitor, coil etc wiring would be helpful.

It should be alot of fun, and I hope to gain some mechanical/electrical experince with it. Not to mention the 240sx appeal, they are oh so sexy.

Welcome to the forums. Did you check your fuses? What's the current situation?
