I dont know much about the 240's yet. Currently I have a '03 Spec V that I have sell, so I'm looking for a decent used car for between $3K-$4K. I've owned 2 Talon TSi AWD's(90 & 96), S-10, Ranger, Mustang and a Camaro. I'm looking for something different. I heard about the DET swap and RWD, so that got me interested.

What are the better years, if any?

What were options on them....i.e. PW/PL/PS/ABS/

What car should I look for if I'm just gonna swap out the stock motor anyway.

 

the best years to get is 91-93 SE, the SE has ABS(i think), PL, PS, PW. if i were u id look for one that has a engine that isnt runnin, it will be a bit cheaper on u.

 

I wouldnt have a problem with the non-running car, BUT.....


I have no room to keep it in a non-running status for long. It would take a while to get the money for a DET swap.

 

o0h, then just find one that is runnin well. Make sure that it has a go0d interior and exterior
