New , and learning

Hey, just joined and thinking about buying a 240sx , i currently own a 88' 300zx but parts are near impossable to find thus the reason im looking into 240's i was just wondering is there is a perferred year etc.. (perferred engine ,or parts avability) or what to look for.
Thanks, Mike

It's all personnal preference. IMO S14 > All but I'm biased. Same thing with engine, it depends on what you want out of your car and what you want to do with it (DD, drift, auto X, grip) Search the forums and then make your decision.

s13 or s14 are all very similar from my personal expierience the s13 seems to understear a little. (maybe I'm crazy). I love my s14. what I would recomend is take your time and find one with the fewest problems, s13 or s14. plus the ka kicks hard with a good tune up,

oh and I got my first speeding ticket today, arrrrg $272! Ouch

Thanks guys, right now i would like reliability, and i would like to steer away from engine swaps, I no longer have a garage. And I would also like a street/strip, daily driver setup. I think i'm leaning on a s14, maybe autox later im not exactly sure.

s13s do have bad understeer problems but so do s14s it all depends on tires, brakes, and suspension.s14s also have obdII and they are a little bit harder to work with one good thing about them is that they are newer and they dont need as much work as an s13 will
