So I just figured I'd say hey. Picked up my '92 coupe for $1400. Came with un-used Tein S-Tech springs and an OEM Silvia grill(e). Only flaws on the car are a sizeable dent on the driver's rear quarter, and a slightly torn driver's seat. Aside from that, the 158k mile KA24 drove wonderfully on the 400 mile trip to get it home. Hopefully It'll last until the summer then the RB25 comes Anyways, here are some pics:

Welcome. Looks good for a 1400 car. I would stick with Ka imo and get some new wheels.

Yeah, new wheels are definitely in order. I've been doing some research about just turboing the KA and it actually sounds like a good idea. Only thing is... the motor has 158k on it... is that motor just too worn out for the turbo? I know that internals are replaced and such.

It doesnt look too bad. You might want to find out if everything is up to date for a turbo.

if anyone else can correct me if i'm wrong....but to my knowledge...resleeving pistons to an old motor is just about as good as sticking in a new motor...maybe not as good, but it does the job. installing new pistons & rods (which you would do to turbo a KA) would be even better....but then again...i could be worng...
