Hey everyone. I am new to the forum and i just wanted to say hi. I recently purchased a 1992 240 and was planing to make it into a KAT. I have search the forum and found useful information but had a question.

To those who have or know which turbo seems to be the turbo of choice when creating a KAT. I was planning on making somewhere between 300 and 350 rwhp. This of course after the bottem end is rebuilt. I know the GT28RS spools up fast can make about 280 hp or so ...but can it crank out more?

First off welcome to the forums, glad you are doing some research on your own.

As to the Turbo, ive seen quite a few people use a T3/T4 hybrid. As for specifics...im not sure.

welcome. as JynX said, it's usually the T3/T4 when going KA-T.
