Hello everyone. I have been playing around with 240's for a while now. This is my second 240SX. I bought it a couple of years ago for $650. Not bad. It has head problems but I really don't care. It still drives and the engine would no longer be around anyway. NO rust, which was important.
I recently stripped and sold my first coupe. I crashed it one too many times. Actually it was done in by a lady who blew a stop sign and then tried to take off. wrecked my entire drivers side. Never drove the same again. It was a sad day when the junk company towed that chassis away.
I hope to start my project this summer. I plan on keeping the exterior very simple with little modification. But the engine will be new. I have not yet decided. I love inline 6 engines so maybe an RB. Either that or do what few has done SC-KA24E (poses more of a challenge which is good). I am leaning more to the SC for difficulty, being rare and I have fallen for the simplicity of the KA. Here are some pictures of both cars:
