Newbie from Hondas

I've been into Hondas for a very long time now-
but I decided I'd move on to something else 'til I get a car.
I'm still in highschool, senior
Name's Abe
Don't have my license (I know, lol), but I used to ride bike
240sx seems to interest me in alot of ways...so I thought I'd join up this site to learn new things about this car. And maybe consider buying one in the future.

welcome from a fellow honda turned nissan guy. not to bash on civics, or hondas in general, but switching from a civic to a 240 was one of the best decisions i've made. you won't regret it!

haha, thanks. I thought I'd go for RWD. And plus, there's so much civics out there, I think I was influenced by them. LOL.

I wasn't a Honda guy, I was a Pontiac guy. But FWD got annoying after too much power! lol It's hard to compare Hondas directly to Nissans, though. You have to own both, and drive both regularly, and work on both to be able to make a truly informed decision on which you prefer. Don't just do it because lots of other people are.

Nah, it's not that I'm totally moving on to 240SX. I'm just checking out what 240SX is like, since it's one of the popular RWD's.
I can't say I know too much about Honda Civics, but I probably know more than what usual people will know about (haha)
I've helped my friend with GSR swap, I/H/E, stuff like that-learning electricals in highschool Auto Technology class. So I have some experience..

Honestly if you are looking for popular RWD cars the 240 has a great aftermarket support and there is lots of knowledge about them.

However, they are getting to be way overpriced for what you get (a 140hp 10 year old little car) and they are the new "in" thing to have - which i guess is a bad thing.

i had a 90 accord 2 door with a jdm H22 5-speed i loved it till i got into the whole "handling" thing lol. i worked for Acura and Honda for a long time and dont get me wron Honda's are awsome cars i wouldnt mind having one as a DD but i feel like ive moved on. also i got to drive a GS-R with full exhaust and intake and msd for the first time after i already had my SR and i was disapointed i had higher hopes because everyone talks so good about those engines.
