Question newbie question

ok I'm new to the 240sx and I had a question. When I'm coasting in 2nd as I slow down to stop I've noticed a gradual jerkiness of the engine as it slows down. This is before I hit the brakes when I'm just not feeding the 240 any gas. Is this normal ? I'm thinking its not any suggestions as to what the problem may be ?

Under Revving? Cause u know..u gotta kick that clutch or the car will jerk, then die, then jerk some more then do a backflip (but that's only on sundays)

No really..U could just be under-revving it.
