Question Prices????

Where or what site can I trust with a motor, shipping, warranties, and everything and most of all the cheapest S13 or S14 SR20DET?
Everywhere i look ebay, sites, etc. some have cheap motors with everything but it just seems so weird. Like a S14 SR20 for 2500 and a S13 SR20 from 1500-2000? Are those right? What price is the right price I should i Pay for either a S13 SR20DETr or a S14 sr20det motor? What is too much, too cheap, just right?

Usually buying a used motor is you get what you get. No warranties that I know of. WTF is with I must have the CHEAPEST? You get what you pay for. Front clip is around 2800-3500 for S13 or S14 average.

Do you want me to tell you what color to paint your car? Or what wheels to buy?

Okay ask yourself these questions.

What do I want from the motor HP monster or Quick Daily?
What is my budget?
Do I want a Front Clip or just the motor alone?
Do I even need a 240?

Im getting a 95-96 240. With about 11,000 to work with. Right now im just looking for good 240 then swap it, suspension, and all the other necessary parts to get it running. Eventually I want it to have 500-600 hp. Daily Driver.

damn i though my 375 daily wish was overkill. i'd be soo happy with 375 but if you rolled up to me you'd make me look like a civic.

Your really not going to have to much fun with that HP. I recommend 350-400 that's fun and realistically usable HP.

I would think 11,000 would easily be enough to get into the 350, 400 HP range and you have a massive varity of ways to get there. I would recommend www.nippon-motors.com if your planning on picking up a SR20. I've heard that all of their stuff is high quality so your not going to get shafted. Plus I think all of their motors come with warrantys!!

Just found this a post with this web address www.srswap.com, they have complete kits including; engine, ecu, stage 1 turbo, 550cc injectors, wastgate, turbo timer, etc... It seems a little expensive to me but to give you an idea, they say with their stage one package puts out 320 HP.

Yea its hard to get a 500-600hp car alone, and to drive it everyday is a totally different story.
