well i've been into drifting and nissan's since 98. i was in 7th grade so i really couldn't have gotten a car . neway i've spent the last 7 years drifting everything that could be drifted. my rc's, every car in gran turismo 3. i have 100's of drift vids from turismo. i have real vids of cars from whenever. i actually took my brother's s10 into a snow bank because i was flicking the back end back and forth down a straight and i went a little more than the steering lock sideways and the damned abs kicked in when i wanted to keep sliding straight. somewhere about 2 years ago i decided i wanted to get a vw and i had gotten my lisence so that's what i've been driving. i spent the next two years tossing my jetta into corners braking into a drift and using the handbrake to get sideways before a corner. being fwd i really haven't been able to drift. i can do anything that a fwd car is capable of and more. but i want to have more freedom with rwd. i've also been a fan of the s13 for as long as i was a fan of drifting. i guess the only reason i didn't get a 240 when i had a chance because when i really was able to get into it, it had turned into a fad. i didn't feel like looking like a sheep. anyway i have grown tired of being limited with fwd and want to move onto rwd. i already have plans to get an s13 and swap in an SR as common as it is now since that was my plans before and it seems like the most obvious choice for drifting. an lsd, clutch and maybe some 300zx brakes are in mind. also suspension. i'm not really interested in body kits and such. i like the look of a clean hb with flip ups. i decided i wanted a s13 blacktop SR and i was wondering who would have the best deal for a good quality front clip. it seems like every good deal i find slips through my fingers so if anyone has a clean s13 roller i'd love to take it off your hands. neway thanks for reading the whole thing if you did. heres a crappy pic of my car now.

Sounds like you have a good headstart in the right direction... are you planning on doing your swap yourself? Or having a shop do it?

 

i'd most definitely do it myself. i don't like shops touching my car. and besides i hafta get to know it so i can fix whatever i break. and i can use the $$ i saved to buy more goodies :thumbup:
