S15 Conversion
Okay guys I'm new to the Nissan thing, as my name says I am a Toyota guy I own a 1994 Supra TT 6spd, that is my favoite car for drag racing, but not that great for drifting, too heavy, and my turbo has too much lag which is not good for road coarses and such.
I want to build a s15 for road courses and drifting purposes. I looked for front end conversions, Vis sells them for 2500, it that a good price for that? I am also interested in the s15 tail light conversion or skyline tail light conversion possibly. What is a good body shot in SoCal that can locate the parts needed for a ful s15 make over.
Another question that I was having, is where to find an s15 slant back motor, no one has them, I heard the motorex has them for like 5500 which is not that bad considering how much I'm getting the chassis for.

Thats not to bad of a price for a S15 conversion...remember that it will cost ya around 4k after paint and putting it on..unless ur a body guy. What chassis u using for this? S14? The S15 tail conversion is ugly...doesnt look right AT ALL. Heres a thread talking about the S15 tail conversion..http://www.club240.com/forums/showth...light=S15+tail On the other hand the skyline conversion doesnt look all that bad...id say stay with stock. Check out SRswap.com i belive they can get ya a S15 engine...but remember this, the mods to make the S15 engine/tranny to fit and work properly in a S14 is a *****...so make sure u have a lot of money on hand. If you want all that S15 stuff...y dont u just import a S15? it will probably be the same price...

you can get a nice perfectly fitted s15 conversion from signalauto.com , its 2900 + 600 dollars shipping (shipped from japan) fender bolt on directly plus i got a v scoop hood carbon fiber made in japan not from china , vis conversions suck , fenders need modifying plus their carbon fiber is made in china and they tend to CRACK also its almost as heavy as STEEL! , anywayz i had good expierence with signal auto , they are mostly located japan since its a japan based company but they have 1 shop in cali and thats where u order from.
