Somebody Talk Me Out Of This!

Hi Y'all!

Great to be here, but I really need someone to talk me out of buying the 240SX iI found the other day in a "used car lot/junkyard". Best I can tell its an S14 with the twin cam engine and "unhidden" headlights. I will buy it on MOnday and have ot delivered on Wednesday. Its got an auto tranny but the high gear or overdrive is shot. The engine runs. PLEASE!

Somebody talk me out od this. BTW, I am so happy to have found your site!

welcome, all s14's come with fixed headlights, if the body is straight you should be fine due to engines being pretty easy to find

Thanks s13240. As soon as I can get the tranny repaired I'll do an overall cleaning from tp to bottom. Whew! its really dirty from sitting in that lot for no telling haow long lol. I figure some engine checks, new fluids etc., some suspension work (new set of coilovers) should get it on the road for now. Later a turbo!
