Wanted to introduce myself...

Hey guys...I am actually a pretty hardcore DSM guy, I drive a 300 AWHP Talon that I have a total of $4k invested into (inlcuding price of car). However, I am considering buying a 240 SX, either S13 or 14. For the money I have in it my talon is really quick,I've only lost to a handful of cars from a dig, but I keep hearing about the reliability of the Nissan camp....I am trying to make a good desicion as to whether to sell the talon and buy a 240 or not. From what I can tell, I would only want to mess around with an RB25DET swap, which seems to cost about $5k after buying an engine and install, plus price of the car. I want a car that runs mid/high 12's and is reliable,as I am in college and can't afford to constantly fix a car. My DSM hasn't given me any problems besides blowing an OEM clutch to bits....Any advice on reliability/cost vs. gain on 240's would be greatly appreciated....

welcome to the forums, for a good RB25 swap, installed may run more than $5000, I'd have at least $8000 before attempting just because you never know when something may come up during the swap.
