Won't shift

all fluid levels are good. I even added some Trans-X . It has slowly gotten worse. It seems to run great other than not shifting up. My son drives it in town to school and back, about 3 miles round trip total, and just shifts manualy between Lo1 and Lo2.

On a car that is 17 years old, it might just be time for an A/T overhaul. If you can't handle it yourself, you should go get some quotes, but it wont be cheap, hopefully its something stupid that can easily be fixed, good luck.

for the price of an overhaul you could most likely find a used ka tranny. Why not go 5-speed in the process?
