*testing waters* BUY MY PROJECT!
I guess it's time to test the waters and see if there is any interest in buying a half done project, as my current finances are forcing me to reconsider my car project budget. Anyways, FS: 1991 Hatchback project car.
The Car:
1991 240 Hatch
Originally black
188K on shell
85ish K on KA24DE
5 speed
Black dash/Interior
Very little body rust (Under Driver Side front fender)
Leaking aftermarket sunroof/rear hatch seals forced the stripping of the interior, I have all pieces less a few screws except for:
Front carpet/padding
Radio brackets
Rear Seats
Rust hole on driver side floor approx. 3" in diameter; currently patched.
Car was in driver side collision prior to my purchasing it, the driverside fender, mirror, and door are off of a parts car. The door fits about 80% but doesnt 100% close at the top. I was given a $440 estimate to have the frame pulled to correct this, but it is almost not a problem as it can most likely be remedied by shimming the hinges. Also the fender fit is slightly off because the support bracket located near the door hinge was broken and I never replaced it. Basically the car is about 3-4 hours of fitment away from being perfect, and would be an excellent canidate for a Silvia front end conversion which was my plan. There is absolutely no frame damage to the car other than a slight and totally repairable dimple in the lower A pillar. The front bumper fit is also slightly askew because of the fitment of the fender. The car is currently flat black.
