F/S 93 240sx NJ -$1500 firm **LONG POST!**

First the details, I'm disclosing everything I know about this car, so there should be no surprises.

Year: 1993
Mileage: 186xxx
Transmission: 5 speed
Trim: Hatchback STD model(lightest) Aztec Red
Asking Price: $1500 firm, reasons: a) its a KA24DE b) its already manual c) $500 worth of repairs were already done, yes I know you don't get paid for that but still. d) good tires, except for that bad one. e) with fast and furious 3 around the corner it'll be worth like 2500 :P

Whats wrong with it
-Wheel studs are stripped. And pretty bad, they go in very rough. Very cheap fix though. And if you want I can sell you ARP Extended Wheel studs for $40(they cost $80)
-all of the wheels have the 4 lugs tightly, except for the passenger front rim, 1 of the studs I wasn't able to get a lug on at all.
-seats have wear spots, I can throw in some black/gray seat covers, and another set of blue seats, or you can buy some aftermarket seats from me.
-Washer nozzles don't work, from the looks of it the pump for that is broken
-tint is purple
-1 tire is leaking air majorly
-1 of the red rear side markers is cracked(I have a replacment, which will come with the car), besides that all glass is good.
-1 of the shock towers is polished, when i was trying to remove the rust, there is still some there but very minor. I spray painted over it with clear coat so it shouldn't rust any more.
-there is a minor dent on the rear 1/4 panel.
-the rear things just above the shock towers are cracked from a strut bar install(what a ***** that is)
-sometimes its hard getting it into reverse, have to force it in.
-has some scratches here and there.
-battery died on me over the winter, so it'll need a jump to get going. I test started it, and it started fine. But there is no reason for me to charge it since it'll just die since I won't be able to drive it.
-brakes seem rusted...for the same reason also
-front bumper has some paint pissing.
-antenna isn't hooked up(my first stereo install and I forgot to put it in.
-there might be an exhaust leak, since the car is pretty loud.
-probably needs an oil change
-ebrake goes up a lil bit too fast, not too certain if it works.
-one of the bolts holes holding the passenger seat rusted off cleanly.
-car is not registered currently.
Overall nothing major for a 13 year old car.


The good.
-Runs strong, and is a KA24DE
-its a 5 speed
-good tires, the one that leaks air should be patched up and should be good as new. Tires still have the little nipples on them. 1 tire seems to be leaking air. I replaced it with a donut
-Interior was fixed, new shift boot, new shift ****, new floor mats, cd player, din pocket. When i got it, all that was gutted.
-Exterior was somewhat fixed too.
-I will also include a set of OEM headlight motors, and oem headlights. And a spare projector headlight housing.
-its already wired for a sub
-doesn't seem to be leaking oil
-clear car fax
-inspection good till 2006, I think june
-clutch seems to be working fine
-timing chain was changed 2 years ago.

Anyways the story: I bought the car last may, and its been sitting in my garage since then, I fixed the interior, fixed the exterior somewhat, and did the lighting. Pretty much in that whole time, the car was driven 30 miles from the guy's house to mine. It drove fine, except the handling sucked cuz the tires were bald as hell. Then I put my car for sale hoping for a quick one so I could drive the 240, but lets just say there was absolutely no interest so I finally decided to keep it, and sell the 240.

Total: 503.25. So close to $500 worth of extras.

What it needs to be in best shape:
New Wheel Studs $40 if you want the ARPs, less if you just go with regular ones.
Washer bottle with pump, which i've seen on ebay go for $12+ $5 shipping
1 new tire, like 50 bucks at pepboys, or you can just haev this one patched.
Maybe new battery cuz this one has some white crap around it $50. Oil change. Some bondo for the rear dent.

Overall I think this is a good deal for what you get. And with a little bit of maintance it can be top notch.

Oh and a sidenote, because this was a problem with a prior buyer who wanted it. You will not be able to get a car loan for the car. I bought the car used, but I never registered, the title is signed. Not dated, and amount not entered. So it can be transferred into whomever name. Reason for that I was planning to sell my other car before registering this one. And apparently car centers won't issue a car loan check in a name thats not on the title.

yes, its just 1 of the wheels has 3 lugs holding the wheel to the car, instead of all 4. The 4th stud is still in place.

Should be easy to replace, I've been looking into it, and pretty much all they say you have to do is take the wheel off, get a big hammer, hit the old stud out, slide hte new one from the back, place it in place, then use a nut to make it sit correctly, then finally putting the tire back on and putting the wheel back on.

I've read different posts, a few say this works. A few say you need to remove the brakes too.
