Would the engines come with any waranty or do they come with 100% guarantee that they run? Do u know about how many these miles might be on a CA18DET? Also, do you happen to have any extra intercoolers that I might be able to buy to put on a CA18DET, if I were to get one?

Our Motors carry 30 days warranty; and around 50000 miles on them, we have stock intercooler with all the piping for it, at the cost of $200.00. Thank you

I also have a couple more questions about the buying the engine. The engine comes put together already and running? If I were to get an engine that won't start, will I be able to contact you and get help? What happens if I were not to get all the parts that you stated in your little ad? When you ship the engine, are you shipping it in a crate or a box that i have to ship back? Thanks I think those are the last of my questions, sorry for being so worried, first time buying an engine off the internet, dont want to buy anything that my not be what I am expecting. Thanks

I'm the person who called Monday evening at about 830 and spoke to Rob. Would it be possible to get photographs of the actual motor id be buying before it is shipped out? I'm aware of the fact that Blacktop SR's have small fins embossed into the upper timing cover, and ive seen plenty of people buy "blacktops" when its really just a redtop with a blacktop's valvecover. also i've seen other threads about poorly packaged motorsets, broken items upon recieving, parts missing, etc.

I just want you understand that this a fairly steep investment, and that im sure none of us want a misrepresented product. If I notice anything is amiss before the freight truck leaves my house, I would of course be inclined to reject the shipment... And as a business I'm sure you can appreciate that.

 

To answer all your questions: All our JDM Imported engines and transmissions are fully tested twice first when we buy them in Japan mostly we buy running cars and we drive them to our yards we keep the Engine, Transmission, and required parts for full swap and we sell the rest (body parts, seats, metal, etc…) for our International and local customer the second/last time we take compression test and parts check list to make sure we have all required parts before shipping to our customers.
We shipped all over North America since 1998 using palettes.

I was wondeirng if I could get a CA18DET motor/ the little sale you have going for the forum. The price for that would be 800 dollars. Plus I would like to get the intercooler with the piping too. Would the shipping change since im getting the intercooler and the piping too. You said the intercooler and piping would be an extra 200. You said the shipping would be 328 dollars.
