shark headlights are the s14 (later version) style of headlight.. not the s13 silvia headlight which come in halogen, dual and triple styles.

so are the "shark" headlights not the ones people use for the Sil-eighty conversion?

just kinda confusing since the guy said that the S13 front clip has the same headlights as the 97-98 240/S14

The shark headlights are the ones on the s14B 97+......
I think that the guy who told you that is a little confused himself. I think that he might be thinking of the strawberry headlights ( S15 silvia), that is a common swap out in Japan for the S13's.

'97+ is called the S14a. The a stands for after minor change. '95-'96 is S14b, before minor change.

actually the sil-eighty conversion is done when you put the front end of an s-13 coupe on a 180/240 hatchbasck. With a s-14 front end it is known as a sil-eightyfour. With an s-15 it is known as a sil-eightyfive.

I do believe you are making that up. Why would you call them that? They are Silvia fronts going on a 180sx. They are all just Sil-Eighties.
