ok now nobody attack me for this... but i bought a 300xz fuel filter too, and i havent put it in yet cuz i have no idea where my fuel filter is, haha i have a 91 240sx coupe if that helps thanks!

Face the engine, look at the power steering resevoir on the front drivers-side shock tower.

It's on the other side of the engine bay in the same position.

It's connected to the fuel rail - just follow the hoses you can't miss it.

By the way...... how exactly do you cut off the fuel pump so the filter runs dry?..... thanks for the help.... just havent got around to putting it on yet and i cant waste the massive amount of gas that would spill out if i dont cut off the pump.... i mean come on.... thats like 50 cents i would waste

pull out the fuel pump fuse.. located in the box behind your battery..

start the car..

it will run for a couple seconds and die.. give it a few more cranks to release all the pressure ..

change filter

replace fuse

start up car.. it will be kinda rough idling for a minute or two..
