Helmet recommendations?

Hey so i've been planning on autocrossing on upcoming events here in central california. I've been searching for a helmet and was curious if anyone here autocrosses. I know about the snell approval but somewhere i heard theres different types of snell ratings is that true?If so what helmet would you really consider and why? I've recently purchased a ARAI Signet Gt helmet and still waiting for it. I'm also currently taking a motorcycle course to pick up my motorycle liscence. Can't wait to try something new than drifting/driving wreckless. Thanks again!

As far as motorcycle helmets go, that's not true. Can't imagine it'd be much different for other helmets too....
