J30 Lsd

well..heres the story. friday after work 12:10pm, i'm going to go meet up my girlfriend to go watch a movie, and well, i hit a pot hole, and my rear diff case cover cracked, ran dry and seized the ****ty stock open differential. heres a pic.

big ****ing hole huh? well yeah, i had to get my car towed to my house, cost like $35 bucks, and haven't been able to drive until now. today is thursday morning, and i just got back from an hours drive. well i picked up a j30 diff, which is a direct bolt on differential, with proper output shafts =). i have a skyline GTS-T (same as n/a Z32) diff that i was trying to sell, because i would have paid the same to get output shafts/diff cover/gasket for that one. i'm selling it if anyones interested. but yeah. the lsd is from a 95 j30. i just want to tell you that this is one of the cheapest mods, and one of the best ever. it compliments the suspension so much more. you actually feel every turn, and can launch harder and accelerate a lot faster out of turns. you should have no problem taking your stock diff off, just have a friend while raising your diff into place. it's a heavy *** *****. let me tell yah! anyways heres some pics:

Thumbs up

I'm VERY INTERESTED in making this purchase. What model skyline did it come out of? Where did you get it from? Also do you have everything available (ie. shafts and such)? And if so is that included in the 150.00 dollars?

Will this fit directly in my 93 240? Thanks again and I hope to hear from you soon! - Dominic

ps- can you post some pics?

it was outta a gts-t (r32 skyline) i purchased it from nightc___ he's a frequent seller on the nico forum boards. you will need to use yuour own stock cover, and get j30 or s14 lsd output shafts. that why i recommend buying just the lsd itself for 100 bucks. later

What condition is it in? How much do you think shipping will be to the bay area (san francisco)? Do you have any shafts for sale? What is it that is $150? sorry... i'm a little confused. You said
150 + shipping...... (90 pounds) then you said....
100 + shipping...... (40 pounds) ...... sorry, what else is included in the $150 that is not included in the $100? Thanks again ..... and I would really like to see some pics, if possible! Thanks- Dominic
