LSD swap

i need an lsd for my 96 se any suggestions, i dont wanna break da bank though, also can anyone list the advantages of an lsd. Are there any lsds that fit with no mods like a z32 one? as u can tell i really know nothing about LSDs

get a vlsd from a s14 with ABS or a super hicas s13


get it for around 100$, perfect fit.. its only a 1way lsd though.. but since u dont know about lsd's.. i dont think u know what u need it for.. and thats all u should really get or need for now

Damn if you can get vlsd pumkins for $100 if FL you should be able to get those springs for cheap

These are some options:

S14 VLSD
J30 VLSD
180sx JDM VLSD w/ Axles
z32 vlsd

There is also the phantom grip which one of guys is going to install in his car to find out if it is worth all of the fuss.

I myself want to see how much abuse it can take.

so is this sumthin i could jus find at a dismantelers or should i get a new one? Also what will it actually be improving? I heard of the 1, 1.5, and 2 way what are the differences and advanteges/disadvanteges? thanx 4 the help

Dismantlers will have them. Call all of your local guys.

You will improve your traction and hp loss due to open differential wheel spin.

VLSD is none of those. It is a viscous (liquid paste) system. Works well and I love it.

I have outgrown it and I am going to 2 way.

1 accelerate.
1.5 accelerate and some decelerate.
2 full accelerate and full decelerate (drift heaven).
