OD to LSD conversion kit

im not advertising this in any way shape or form, justthought it was kind of cool. its a kit to convert your open differential to a limited slip differential. here are two links:

http://www.mmrusa.com/phantom1.htm

http://www.phantomgrip.com/

i think its cool you dont have to shell out 700-1000 bucks for an aftermarket LSD like kaaz, nismo etc. and you dont have to pull an older and used vlsd from a junked car. as to how well it works or how reliable it is, i dont know. havent heard from anyone who's tired it.

I haven't heard that many good things about phantom grip, they can't take the beating of drifting well.

what about if you dont do any type of heavy driving/drifting?
will this particular limited slip do the job?
i think i have heard on this board somewhere they mess up your rear end.

I've heard of them breaking apart and totally messing up your diff.

I still wouldn't recommend it for daily driving, wouldn't take the risk. I'd rather fork over the money on a VLSD, or save up for a 1.5 kaaz
